Visiting Garnethill Synagogue
If you wish to visit the Synagogue, there are a number of options.
Visiting during services is welcome by arrangement. Please use the form on our services page to enquire about a guest visit.
We are happy to arrange visits by schools, art and architecture tours, interfaith groups and others. In some cases, a modest fee will be requested. See below for visiting details
The Synagogue is also open on the Glasgow Doors Open weekend (Sunday only). Always a very popular attraction on the day, Doors Open Day is usually held in September each year. You can find out more information on the Glasgow Doors Open Day website for further details.
The Scottish Jewish Archives Centre has frequent open days at which visiting the Synagogue may be arranged by appointment through them (where their capacity permits). Contact the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre for more details about their open days and research or collections-based visits.
The Scottish Jewish Heritage Centre runs regular guided tours of the Synagogue, and the displays about Jewish life in Scotland - see their website for more information. School visits can also be organised through the Heritage Centre. See their website for more information or email email@example.com.
